My Sightings

Date Location Note
-In my backyard on a telephone poll across the pond. Very dark, darker than usual. Not a dark morph, I don't think, as those don't occur much in florida. Didn't get a good look at its belly. There was another hawk, likely the same species flying nearby.
Possum Branch@ Possum Branch, flying above
Florida Botanical Gardens@ Florida Botanical Gardens, in some back area behind a fence. It was screaming very loudly.
Wall Springs Park@ Wall Springs Park, hard to tell apart from other hawks sometimes but a dark belly band distinguishes it. Hawks look very differently throughout their lives, and they are usually highly sexually dimorphic, so they can look very similar sometimes.
